This week's 88-5 ALBUM DIVE is the record "Paradise Pop 10" from Christian Lee Hutson.
Most of the album was recorded "in the depths of winter" at Figure 8 Recording in Brooklyn, NY, along with two songs recorded here in Los Angeles at Lucy's Meat Market. Phoebe Bridgers co-produced the album, along with Marshall Vore & Joseph Lorge. Bridgers and Christian's fiancé - Maya Hawke appear on the record, as well.
I got to chat with Christian when he came by the station for a SoCal Sound session. He also performed three songs solo.
