We continue our WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH celebration by featuring female artists every week for our 88-5 ALBUM DIVE. Next up is the LA band Lala Lala.

Lala Lala is the project of Lillie West.
West had been living in Chicago, where she established Lala Lala as an integral part of the city’s indie scene. But she decided to explore, first landing off the grid in Taos, then in Iceland, and London. After a residency in a tiny Icelandic town, she made her way to Reykjavik. And now she has settled down right here in Los Angeles.
This album "Heaven 2" was co-produced by West and Jay Som’s Melina Duterte. Both performed almost all of the album’s instruments with a few crucial guests, including Sen Morimoto, Macie Stewart, and Porches’ Aaron Maine.

Let's dive into this record each weekday just after 12-Noon this week as part of our 88-5 ALBUM DIVE on the SoCal Sound.
Until then, my pretties...
