The LA Phil/Hollywood Bowl’s Johanna Reese joined Nic Harcourt this morning to announce The Hollywood Bowl 2025 Summer Season. Looove going to shows at the bowl. I’ll list some highlights from this year’s schedule. 

This is LA Phil Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel’s 16^th season with the Bowl. First up, a tribute to first responders and the community members who were impacted by the wildfires in LA: 

We ♥ LA

April 1^st: The LA Phil is presenting a free “We ♥ LA” concert featuring Gustavo Dudamel, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and special guests TBA. 

June 7^th: Opening Night at the Bowl: An Evening with Hugh Jackman - performing songs from The Greatest Showman, The Music Man and more.

July 2^nd, 3^rd, & 4^th: July Fourth Fireworks Spectacular featuring Earth, Wind & Fire together with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, conductor Thomas Wilkins, and the Bowl’s signature fireworks display.

July 5^th: Jaws in Concert with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, conducted by David Newman, celebrates the 50th anniversary of the original summer movie blockbuster.

July 6^th: John Fogerty

July 16^th: Juanes

July 25^th & 26^th: Diana Ross

July 27^th: I Want My 80’s featuring Rick Springfield, John Waite, Wang Chung and Paul Young

August 8^th & 9^th, 2025: Jurassic Park in Concert with Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic features the visually stunning imagery of the entire film projected in HD with a performance of John Williams’ iconic score live to picture.
