Julie Slater is The SoCal Sound’s Music Director and Midday host, weekdays from 10a–2p PT. She previously hosted the weekend specialty show Out on a Limb on 88.5 for more than six years. She has also DJ’d at 100.3 The Sound and ALT 98.7 in Los Angeles, and followed Howard Stern in middays on 92.3 K-Rock in New York City.
Listen for her 88.5 Album Dive weekdays just after 12p PT. Then on Fridays, her better half Jason Friday joins her at 1p PT for Friday on a Friday, where they obsess about Radiohead, new music, paddleboarding, and SoCal adventures.
